About This Tool

The Image Color Extractor analyzes any uploaded image and identifies its dominant colors, giving you a complete palette with hex, RGB, and HSL values for each color. This is invaluable for designers who need to match a color scheme to a photograph, create a brand palette from an existing image, or find the exact color values used in a design.

The tool uses client-side image analysis to sample pixels across the image and group them into clusters of similar colors. It then ranks these clusters by frequency and prominence to produce an ordered list of dominant colors. You can adjust the number of colors extracted from as few as 3 to as many as 12 to get the level of detail you need.

Each extracted color is displayed as a swatch with its hex, RGB, and HSL values ready to copy with a single click. The tool also generates a proportional palette bar showing how much of the image each color represents. Upload any JPEG, PNG, or WebP image and get your palette in seconds - all processing happens in your browser.
